Hi all, I currently play an Evette Buffet Crampon 338,xxx

I currently play a Claude Lakey 6* and it's really not what I want. (I feel like its fake? Is that a thing?)

Considering something like the Jody Jazz HR* but I wanted to know what everyone else plays!

I am open to any and all suggestions, and I'm not really looking for anything super bright (Not about Dukoff's on my soprano)

Selmer Super Sessions were all the rage here about fifteen years or so ago. I wasn't the only one who thought they got better the more open they were. I currently play a J opening and keep an I as a spare. Thing is, I don't think they make them as open anymore... but if you can find an old one, they're gems.

well which piece is used for what? curious
The Yamaha 4CM is my go to mouthpiece for everything classical when I want a slightly more spread (less focused) tonal quality. It provides a kind of heavier presence. It suits my Yamaha soprano very nicely. The Selmer S90 190 is the piece I like to use on Londeix and Mule etudes or pieces that require a lot of octave jumps. It has a slightly smaller chamber than the Yamaha so it's nicely focused; the narrow beam of sound seems to allow those rapid octave jumps a cleaner tonal quality. The Yanagisawa HR 5 replaced the Selmer D as my go to jazz piece when I want more flexibility with timbre. And the 5 or Selmer D is my limit for soprano pieces--I really can't play anything bigger and achieve the results I want.

Whoa, Lakey! I played one of those last century ('80s) - got it directly from Claude.

I've been through a "few" sop pieces since then (including Barone "Vintage", Barone Hollywood, a couple Lamberson "Fmaj7", and a Selmer "Super Session" J), and have been playing the Phil-Tone "Sapphire" since Phil started those. In fact, I like it so much that I sold my other sop pieces, and had Phil make me a backup Sapphire (0.070").

Plenty of good suggestions here. The three soprano pieces that I have experience with, and that I think all work(ed) quite well, are, in my order of preference...

Selmer Super Session ("I" opening, and I echo Grumps wholeheartedly)
Bari .068
Selmer S80 (I used a "D" opening but I think I'd prefer a larger one these days)
