Every time I listen to this entire album, it amazes me. Just incredible!

A MASTERPIECE!

Ive probably listened to this album hundreds of times over the last 35 years, and it just gets better, if that even possible.

2 masters at their best. The bonus is being able to hear them on each others set-ups.

Rogerrr,
The entire album is ridiculous. Gorgeous ballads, beautiful slow swing songs, medium swing, and up tempo stuff...and everything is just so beautifully done.
Oh, and the rhythm section isn't too bad either. LOL

That is awesome! The entire disk is absolutely stellar, and the solos are all that memorable.
Enjoy and come back and add to the post after you’ve listened to it.

Finally got the CD — when I heard the first song I was grinning like an idiot ....Desmond & Mulligan are wonderful together but Getz & Mulligan are astonishing...it really adds to the fun when they switch horns

Thanks for making me aware of this

That’s fantastic! So glad it finally arrived.
Both of those CDs are amazing. The music just gets better and better!

What I find amazing is how close they sound too each other. Their sound is so close to one another that it's hard to tell them apart. Mulligan did a bunch of these sax duet albums. Desmond already mentioned, but also with Ben Webster, Johnny Hodges and Lee Koniz to name a few.
