Hey everyone, I have a rico metalite m9 for bari sax and i'm wondering if you have any tips on getting more sound out of the horn, I use a rico 2.5 for reeds.

Well... You could go down in reed strength and blow harder or you could try a smaller tip opening and blow harder.
There is only so much sound you can get out of a horn. Maybe you've just maxed out....

Oh well! If we are going down the " chop in a box" road how about Hartmann carbon fibre reeds?

A little bit more baffle near the tip to get rid of the raised tip rail would add some projection. Test it with some temporary putty like dental wax or poster hanging putty (also called mounting putty).

Make sure the horn doesn't have any leaks and that the neck/tenon fit is correct.
