Gerryck King passed away recently.
You guys may not believe this but I heard him play " A Night In Tunisia " on his drums.
I mean he played the actual melody on his drums.
I've included the most recent recording I could find even though it's only a sound check with his name spelled differently. The missing pianist in the video is Art Hillary who played with Charlie Parker.
Gerryck was in the original Joe Williams trio.
