Oh man... this solo is so great to listen to that I just had to transcribe it. I know there's already a transcription out there somewhere for the "A Hot Night in Paris" one, but this is – in my opinion – way cooler.

This is taken from footage of a Phil Collins Big Band concert at Montreux that I saw on Youtube. Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elE_1DCDyps. Skip to 3:19 for the solo.

Here's my transcription of this awesome solo. Some parts are inaudible on the recording, because the band covers up Albright's playing.
Also, the changes aren't exactly like the usual "Sussudio" changes... the big band solo section is different.

And if it being an Albright solo didn't clue you in: You're gonna need some altissimo chops for this one!

As always, feedback is welcome. Enjoy!

Great, many thanks. We have Sussudio somewhere in the book of the bigband I'm playing with and we should resurrect it asap.

Do you happen to have a transcription of his solo from this video? (Solo starts around 2:37)

We're playing this piece in jazz band and I'm playing this solo; it's insane! Right now I've just been copying little licks that he's done and throwing in my own ideas into there as well. It would be awesome if there was a transcription of this solo to get some more ideas from.
