Thanks again Scooby! You and Kelly need to slow down. :bluewink:

Question
Do you transcribe on paper first or go right to the computer?
Which music notation software do you use and or recommend? Great stuff. Also Great taste in what you decide to transcribe (same for Kelly and Charles while we are at it)

I sketch things on paper first.

I use Sibelius. It's what I started with long ago, so I've stayed with it. Finale certainly has its fans as well. Having gotten used to Sibelius, there's not much incentive for me to switch. If anything, they seem to be getting closer to each other over time. New versions of both look like they try to incorporate good ideas from the competition.

Arrgh! I just caught a typo. If you've already downloaded a copy, please grab a new one to get the corrected version.

I'll have a word with the folks in the proofreading department ...

EXACTLY what he said — but swap the words "Sibelius" and "Finale"!
