I would have loved to have played with him.
He can just get you right up off your seat!

THIS is what I love about jazz.

I can't drive listening to him. I have 2 or 3 of his CDs, and I just start bouncing around in the seat and shouting "YEAH!" at the top of my lungs. I have pulled over into a rest stop to listen to him, because, well, it requires all my attention!
