Thought you might enjoy today's ImprovLive 365 -Episode 46 - it's a live recording of last Saturday's version of an extremely funky arrangement by Steve Adams called "The Dive" . I'm laying it down on bari, and Allan Chase kills the solo alto part!

Great sounding ensemble. Love the way none of you can stand still. You especially mobile are wandering around dancing with the bari. Nice. I like the writing/arrangement and you all make it fresh. Not exactly improvisation, but definitely owned by all of you.

Thanks Wade! As far as improvisational/compositional elements: The lead alto part is almost all improvised. There is an open trio group improv section and an open quartet group improv section. The rest is basically written.
