I am selling my solid silver Gemeinhardt open hole flute. I purchased it new in 1974 and had it serviced about 10 years ago with new pads, then have not really played it since. It is a c-foot, inline g and in great condition. The local music store suggested that I could sell it for about $800 since it is vintage and an original Gemeinhardt - not silver plated like todays flutes. Anyone interested? email me at [email protected]

FYI, It is an M3S model not a 3MS . In our area lately these bring $400-500 in good condition and good pads. $600 if it is really great. $800 is a bit off the mark. I've owned, bought and sold quite a few of these. I sold a 3SS (all sterling gold springs)with B foot for $700. The M3S has plated keys and rib plate.
