yes, indeed, and besides being a C soprano is it anywhere near being A=440 Hz?

Yes it should be pretty close. French pitch was standardised in the 1860s to something fairly close to modern 'low pitch' A=440 (I can't remember the exact pitch, but it is very close) close enough to play with modern instruments anyway.

Now relisted...PM me if you are interested, it is a good starting bid IMO (less than I paid for it)...I'd also be open to a swap for a vintage nino. This is a rare gem of a horn!
