Someone to watch over me.
Not the best recording quality, but I rarely find something that someone recorded of me playing. Enjoy.

Yeah, it can be a treat. A reggae band I sat in with a couple months ago put like seven videos up on youtube from the set. I didn't even know they were recording... otherwise I wouldn't have blocked the camera with my backside! This sort of thing is going to be more and more common these days with everyone being their own broadcaster. I just hate it when someone puts out something that may not be your best work... and you just hope it silently fades away.

I dug your playing and the singer, but what is it with these busy piano players?

Heh... yeah. Nice playing by the way! The only thing that detracted from the performance was the background talking but considering the context of the video, it wasn't bad at all! Oh yeah, the girl was fantastic as well! I definitely enjoyed!

Very nice playing. I like the singer. I can hear her well. Wish I could see her more clearly. :)

Haha, I put up a video of me playing and everyone wants to know about the singer!!!
The singer is the beautiful and talented Lauren Urquhart! The video was taken while I was working on a cruise ship earlier this year. Lauren is actually British, with a thick accent, and was in the show cast. She mentioned that she was a jazz singer and this is one of the performances we did in one of the lounges. I sat in for the normal sax player and she sat in on vocals.
Unfortunately, there is not much of her singing recorded out there. I am glad I got on this recording with her.
Also, thanks for the compliments with my playing. Yeah, I do also wish there was less talking, especially during my solo.
:) eh, what are you gonna do?
