Hey everyone

I went to my music store, and I was noodling around at some alto pieces.

and I noticed a florida link, still being a mouthepiece newbie. I was automatically attracted to it.

So I bought it about 20 minutes ago, and I like it so far.

It's a Florida link on one side is says 5, and on the other is says F77

And right next to the F77, theres a light etching I didnt' notice before. It says, "By Ralph Morgan, II7*"

So, I'm assuming it was refaced by Ralph Morgan to a 7* spec.

But I just wanted to know some more information about florida links (why everyone likes them), and some more about this Ralph Morgan guy.

Yeah, I just wanted to knwo some background infor about my new mouthpiece :D

thanks!

Yeah, its an alto piece and its metal.

hold on, I'll get some pictures.

Also, I just checked out theo wanne's website and I think its an early florida link, because the "stm" etching is underneath two bands.

Here are some pictures.

sorry for the large pictures

Oh I forgot to say I paid 80 bucks for it.

haha, its a pretty big music store in my area called Beacock's music.

They get the occasional vintage pieces every so often. But for some reason this was was priced really low. And its a great playing piece for all I can tell! :D

I guess I lucked out today

Wow...talk about luck. If you ever get tired of it, or decide that it's not for you, I call dibs!
