Hey SOTW! I'll be performing my first public show in eight months(!!) tonight via a safe and socially-distant live-stream through Monks Music, a wonderful concert series in Austin.

My dear friend Ryan Hagler, a wonderful bassist from my days in the North Texas trenches, has been a professor at the Berklee affiliate school in Quito, Ecuador for the past eight years. He's newly back in the States, and we're gonna play some tunes! A combination of some of our favorite American jazz tunes (by Monk, Kenny Kirkland, Pat Metheny, and Jaco Pastorius) as well as some South American and Afro-Caribbean tunes. Sean Giddings will be on piano and Daniel Dufour will be on drums, some of the best dudes around.

Here's a link to all the information. Tune in if you get a minute and need some new music tonight!
