Hi, I was wondering if any of you pros could give me any advice to due on my first gig?

I'm not a pro, but I can give you some great advice:

1) Don't f*ck it up
2) Don't f*ck it up
3) Don't f*ck it up
4) Don't f*ck it up

and number 5, you guessed it... don't f*ck it up

If you've got the gig you know you're stuff, so play it, you didn't need me or anyone else to tell you that!

Have a good gig though.

Don't drink the free beer,watch your instrument on breaks,take a nap earlier so you can wait until 3:30 am. to get paid.Oh yeah ,have fun!

of course we got 900 for the show which after splitting it 4 ways is $225 per person then we got 75 each for the extra hour so around 300 for each person

Wow. All downhill from there.
Don't get too used to those kind of paycheques. There will be many that will be much smaller.
