Finally, a recording of myself and some freinds! 3 out of 5 mpcs I use are Drakes!

Here it is, a recording of a jam session I held at my place (awesome outdoor ampitheatre-like acoustics!). This was recorded on an iPhone! This is a Jam, and some pieces certainly gelled better than others! Enjoy! If you want to know who played where and what, just ask. There are multiple saxes on this recording.

My equipment is listed in my profile. I am playing Drakes on Alto, Tenor, and Bari. Soprano I'm playing on a metal Rover Deep V.

Mics are AKG clip on (all 4 of my saxes using the same mic), Shure SM57, and Shure Beta 58.

Bari Sax in "Kansas City" is me :) . That is my favorite piece, ever, and on this recording!

It is about 45 min long! MOST of the Jam. Last 3/4 of the Jam if I remember. Didn't miss much in the first 1/4, as we were just mostly warming up, and figuring what we were going to play anyway :) .

And I have all sorts of typos in the title! I meant "Friends" and 3 out of 4. Doh! Got your attention though huh? ;)
We do sound a lot a like :) Dad had to get an amp fixed, so I told where he could go. It was a fun jam, even if we were mostly just playing for our own amusement! I was told I should try setting another one up next year, but to have a tent ready. I'd rather wait though until I have my own PA equipment first, so I'm not relying on another band's gear.
Here's the last 20 min of the Jam Session (after the potluck). Beware, we did botch of few pieces on this set! But, we had fun!
The "My Favorite Things" recording on here, is possibly the worst I have sounded on this piece! Very bad reed day. Had to borrow a VanDoren 2 1/2, and though stiffer than my other reeds that had crapped out on me that day, it was still too soft! I have now fixed the issue with Fibracell 3 1/2 and 4 reeds.
