hi all,

forgive me for being a numnut here, but ive noticed pretty much all famous selmer players play mark vi's, and sba's, and a very select few play ref 36/54.

could you let me know of any famous players who use either super action 80, series ii or iii horns? it baffles me that selmer market these as pro models if no "pro's" are using them.

(btw, i know full and well how good these horns are as i own both of them, and i know plenty of pro players around town who use them too. im just curious as to why i dont see them come up with "brand name player" at all)

Tim Price uses a Silver plated Series III, and Jim Romain uses one when he's playing classical music, it's gold plated.
