I'm a tech-head and love my Akai 4000S, but I know nothing about how to create, find, add, remove sounds from the EWI. I'd also like to know how to make a great setup that I can use to use my gigs and home use. You know, hooking it up to my computer, recording, etc.

This is a loaded question, but all I have is an amp, the 4000s, a volume pedal, and an effect pedal.

Resources, materials, advice, etc. would all be greatful.

I think you can get lots of usable advices from the guys at syntesizer forums.

Of course you can get the documents and the software at the site of Akai Pro:

And a specialized site with guys who know a lot of windcontrollers is here:

Those guys developed a connection unit for the WX-series of Yamaha to control every synthesizer with their windcontrollers, the WW-Bat:
