In the review you don't say how many reeds you actually used and how many played well for you. It may be only by chance that you get 2-3 great reeds.
Once I bought a box of RSJ filed and 3 out of 5 reeds were awesome, and the other two were good. So I ordered 5 boxes. In these 5 boxes (so 25 reeds in total) none played like the first three. Now how do you explain that? If I had only tried the first three reeds, I would be saying wonderful things about this brand and particular model.

Yeah, I've played through boxes of these before, and I don't know if I've ever had that drastic of an experience. Very strange. I have had the experience where if my reeds aren't in a humidity controlled environment (like a house with central air) then even reeds in an opened box can be warped and ruined by humidity changes.
