I am not sure which would be more difficult - playing that solo or transcribing it. What a monster.

Wow, just WOW! I am giving up the saxophone again, JK! Yeah, insane solo -but the lines he plays are just stupid hard at times. And all that still has this harmonic and melodic flow even at that speed.

Great job on the transcription - honestly not sure HOW you were able to transcribe that level of a fast moving solo - software aids? The 7 groupings - how did you figure the timing out? Anyway, thanks for providing.

Jeepers Creepers. What a crazy solo to transcribe. I would have given up in the first 10 measures. Great job.

I transcribed this for part of the CD release, so I definitely would have used software to make sure it was accurate. Honestly, I did this nearly two years ago now, so it's really difficult to remember the details. As far as figuring out the rhythms and 7 groupings, in my experience you just have to go over these things over and over to find the 'best' anser. Rhythm is something I really enjoy, so I didn't mind going to the extra effort to see exactly what was going on etc.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. Playing it is harder than transcribing it IMO.
