I'm thinking about selling this piece, just a thought not 100% that's why it's not in the marketplace. I wanted to get some opinion on how much it's worth and a similar hard rubber piece I should look into. It's a STM from 2003, i think. And plays on the brighter more focused side, for a link... but with no edge. It's still spread and dark but not as much as a stock STM. So through minor research I've been looking at the TMEB pieces. Is this a good piece? I would like to hear what people have to say.

Agree with Vivace1. Erik does great work. Kinda confused when you describe it plays on the "brighter, more focused side" then immediately say "but with no edge". Huh?

Yeah, I was wrong to say that. In combination with me and the mouthpiece the sound could be a little on the cleaner side. I've always been more of a classical player. So my natural tone is on the cleaner side, and I have to work harder to get some sort of edge to my sound.

I usually see modern STM's that are refaced by popular refacers go for $150. I've bought and sold a couple at that amount including an Eric G and an Ed Zentera. People usually ask around $175 but they negotiate.
