Steller Guy and steller player! Will definitely try to chime in there.

I saw him back in the mid 2000s with Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. Heck of a performance. I believe he was also speaking during the Jazz festival/classes and answering questions. Wish I had known more then and could have picked his brain!
My first true inspiration was in high school seeing this performance live:

For those who missed it: Eric is making a new album with Randy Brecker - got to hear some samples and it was fantastic.

He also shared an awesome story about some time from when he played with Michael Brecker. Brecker asked if he wanted to try out his horn and he said it was awful, super resistant and the opposite of what he expected! And then Brecker tried Eric's alto and he said it sounded the exact same as his tenor just higher.

Also found out that Eric has some tremendous tenor chops. A bit different than his alto sound!

Great stuff thanks for making this known!
I think after what Eric said about Michael Brecker';s tenor, the value of all 80xxx to 89xxx Mark VI tenors are gonna drop tremendously haha
Haha would be funny to have seen some people's reactions to this that play those horns! Thanks for hosting and making this happen!
