That's for sure. I haven't listened to this era of Bob in a while and when I heard it I was immediately struck by the tone. Focused for sure but so are the Navarros, just in a different way. Man, I've been chasing that tone for a while now. It seems to be a sound versatile enough to go back and forth between the commercial stuff and the jazz stuff.

Great clip! Thanks for sharing. I don't see or hear Bob Mintzer lately much. Hope he is doing fine. One if mine inspirational figures. I have "Modern Day Tuba" playing in my car.
