I am thinking of having my Ref. 54 tenor engraved.
Anybody know of a UK engraver?
Is the antique finish an issue?
Any other issues?

I don't know any engravers in the UK, but I can tell you there are no problems with engraving a R54. Here's Randall's R54 I did a couple years back:
