Hello, I have an Encore file(.enc) of a piece that I'd really just like to print. I got the encore file online, the only version of this arrangement I could find. I don't have encore, and Encore's free trial doesn't allow you to print. So I have no idea how I should convert this enc file into another notation software file or a pdf, or anything that I can just print. I really don't want to have to manually re-write the whole thing into my notation software.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, or if someone who has Encore would be willing to export it to a pdf for me, I could send it to you and that would be awesome.

Thanks :)

I installed pdfforge on a couple of Windows machines (pdfforge is another PDF "printer" utility). It has worked well for me. But if you install pdfforge, be careful to examine the options at installation time, because you need to uncheck one of the options which, by default, will install some annoying add-on utility into your browser. (I apologize, but I forget what that add-on is called).

Thanks for all the ideas, but I've run into the same original problem with all of them. As I said in the first post, Encore's demo trial doesn't allow you to print. With that being said, I'm unable to use any of the programs you all suggested because they required you to "print" to them through the files application, which would be Encore.

Mail the encore file to me (or anyone you know who owns finale). Enc-files could be imported in Finale and exported in a file format, which your notation app (which is it?) can read.

I managed to get something to work with dubrosa's idea, thank you so much! And thanks for the offer Taragot, I appreciate it. However I will say that I have finale, and I'm not able to import Encore files. I was reading about that in trying to figure it out, and most of what I read seems to say that Finale stopped supporting ENC imports after the 2009 version.
