A backing track this time from Jamey Aebersold the classic Eighty One by Ron Carter) https://soundcloud.com/alex-nyman-759436259%2Feighty-one-ron-carter it's difficult as we all know to generate a little heat with the rhythm section when it's a backing track so I've done my best to fit in some energy despite the guys being oblivious to my noodling :) thanks for listening if you have a minute or two to spare. Kind regards, Alex

Great stuff! Your soprano is awesome. I mean the tenor is great too, don't get me wrong, but your soprano just sounds effortless. It makes me want to get out a soprano :) that's tough to do!

Also, the mix is really well done. Sounds really nice Alex. I enjoy your stuff!

Hey Simon. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the kind words. Regarding the Soprano I managed to find a Yamaha 62r about 2 years ago and ended a years long search for one. It belonged to a local classical player and had been well used but she wasn't playing it any more. It is without a doubt the best Sop I've played (and I've played many) the action is so light and perfectly positioned. I use a very old Giardullo Missing Link piece on it. I've tried many other mouthpieces but none come closer to the sound I hear in my head than this one. Thanks for the compliment on the mix I do take a fair bit of time in it. Kind regards, Alex

Hi Michael. No EWI on this one. Just Soprano and Tenor. How was the 5000? Did you buy one?
My 5000 is in transit. Tons of plans in the head. I believe I'll have fun.

I collected a lot of info about EWI in general and some points for 5000.
Few DAW related forums are very helpful.

I am just stepping in the "water"... At some point may "disturb" you about "all that jazz".

Thanks for the initial support.
