Now, the influence of Eddie Harris as he might sound while playing in the Space Station orbiting the earth. OK - so it's not Sun Ra or anything else tasty but it does employ a decent rhythm line to play over.
Naturally all comments (clean) welcome.
Specs: Selmer Seri III w/SR Tech Pro 115 M.P. Oleg Ligature and Vandoren 2 ½ that sucks!
Stam SA-87 Mic and Cubase 9.5 DAW w/ lots-o-plugins that are not necessary.
Groove Agent 5 and Halion Sonic 2 for VST instruments on rhythm parts all distorted with
Pseudo-space-garbage.

DDR-> A Sax in the band is worth two in the case.

Yeh! I'm into that. Very cool. Loving the FX. Sax is tight as. Maybe could have gone on for a bit longer? Great work DDR. Alex

Great, I wanted more as well. Funny thing, I’ve been playing Freedom Jazz Dance over the last couple of weeks, you’ve renewed my enthusiasm.

Funny thing, with me - I was trying to play the "Freedom Jazz Dance" melody in retrograde. I did not quite make it but I always thought not only was Harris a great influence and player but "Freedom Jazz Dance" was one line that every musician should have under her/his belt.

DDR-> "Freedom Jazz Dance" <=> "Dance Jazz Freedom"

I have to admit to struggling to get it comfortably in my head. The way it plays with the cycle is great and makes it such a good piece just to practice. When I get there I'll try it in retrograde, great idea.
