Hi, Folks.

I just posted the first of two videos on saxophone embouchure.

In it, I demonstrate and explain how to form an embouchure that's suitable to your mouth.
There is also a tone comparison of tight vs. loose embouchures.

Do you do something different? There are certainly many different ways to approach this very individual and personal part of saxophoning.

... probably not surprising, but the "tight" embouchure sounds more focused to me and might be preferred sound wise.
Great youtube post btw and excellent camera work.
