I love my Rousseau 4R mouthpiece. Not ungodly expensive like selmer S80 and S90s, vandoren, and the other hype. Its mellow, projects greatly, and is the most in-tune piece I ever played on. Vandoren V.12 strength 3 and rovner dark just make it ever better. Try one, itll change your life. :bluewink:

I'm playing a Rousseau Studio Jazz 6 on soprano, and used to play one on alto too, before finding my current Meyer. Both are great mps with a lot of dynamic and pitch flexibility. They combine a very balanced tone with quite some projection. Great for solo work. They do require good control, as the pitch is less locked than on most comparable mps.

I play a JDX6 on bari and it has beat all other (more expensive) options thus far, for me. Terrific flexibility and projection.
