I've got a Dukoff (Miami stamp) D8 soprano piece that I used to play back in my younger years (very loud bands - that mouthpiece is powerful). But these days I don't play in loud bands anymore (I quit years ago while I still have some of my hearing left) so I play a much tamer setup.

I just pulled that Dukoff out and blew thru it a bit - it's a great sounding piece but more open than I play these days. I measured it and it's .075 tip. I just did a Google search and apparently these are a hot item because of Kenny G (surprise to me). Some guy has a nasty looking one on eBay for $800 which seems crazy to me. What is a realistic value for this? Mine still looks good with original ligature and cap (but not the box).

I think USD$1000 should be a fair price nowadays, just while now in pandemics, it looks not to ask for that as easy as before.

'The Chosen One' clearly decides the market value :). Just like the original blue jumbo java, older Beecher Belites, worth more without any real reason. Pretty sure I saw one on Facebook for $1250.
