Hindemith's Concertstuck
Von Koch's Birthday Music for Sigurd Rascher

These are both pretty good recital pieces. I'm not sure if the altissimo will be a problem (it may not be). The top player in the Hindemith will have some (I believe up to A). Both players will have some in the Von Koch (I believe the top part goes to an E). FYI: The Von Koch also has flutter tongue and slap tongue.

I am currently working on turning Beethoven's Walstien Sonata in a duo for two altos... but that is still a while off.

Sellner: 12 Duets. They come in 4 volumes. There are some very listenable works in there. I believe they were originally written for oboe.

You don't have to play stuff written or arranged for only saxophones. Look into playing flute duets. There's a plethora of them out there and they are perfectly suitable for saxophones. Like mentioned above, the Bach Two part inventions are great. Also for starters, you might want to try the Voxman duets, fun and easy duets. I just got the Koechlin duets and have played through a couple of them; they're OK.

Put one on soprano and play Festiggiamento No. 2 )
Man, you keep hitting that thing like a coked-up monkey on a snare drum. Is Maros your uncle?

Festiggiamento almost got played here at Southern Miss last year. That piece is nuts.

About the duet suggestions, I would also recommend Galante "Saxsounds III." It's gotten played A LOT at Fredonia in the last few years, but it's still a good piece.
