lesson one - NEVER pick up a mouthpiece by its cap

however - having learned the lesson the hard way - what next?

a new brass tenor link is ~ £175 at dawkes in maidenhead

how much to get the chip straightened out or this- or simly go for another?

any advice on mouthpiece refinishers in the UK & the likely cost comparison - new against refinished?

yes - but it's more difficult

the opening between reed & tip is now slightly v - shaped: so more it needs a firmer embouchoure to play
