Hi Everyone,

It is now official, Drake Ceramic Instruments will have a booth at the upcoming NAMM show 2010 (Jan 14-17 Anneheim). I want to use this thread to post updates such as our booth location and any other info pertaining to our exibit.

I am also looking for a handful of players who are using our mouthpieces or clarinet barrels and would like to attend the show as a Drake Ceramic Instruments associate. I can't fly anyone out, sorry, but if you plan to be in the area I can get you a guest pass. We might also ask you to wear our name tag and give out a few brouchures :D

Feel free to PM me or email me at: [email protected]

All the Best.

Ooh ooh ooh! *waves hand*

I wouldn't make a great "associate" as you outplay me by a large margin, but I'd still love to go. The offer to lend the Aquilasax C-mel remains valid whether you have a pass for me or not. If I have the Buescher back by then (and I probably will), that likes your pieces even better.

Sure, you may not see a single C-mel enthusiast show up at your booth the entire show... but then again you might, and sell a couple pieces you otherwise wouldn't have.

Also be on the lookout for a video, hopefully to be posted soon, of Aaron Drake playing TUBAX! There was only one in the whole show, but it was being carted around by its owner. I got to play it while it was on display at the Oleg booth, and let Aaron know it was there but he didn't want to abandon his station (understandably). Luckily, the horn came to him!
