I have a Yanagisawa tenor. Bought it second hand in 1995 for a reasonnable price. But I don't know the exact model it is - and never really try to know it since then (!)

There is nothing on it except some carved work that looks like abstract flowers and the brand name. It is a fine and well balanced instrument that has remained in good form though years without any specific maintenance.

Can someone help me to figure out that question ?

Pictures would help. Does it have an underslung octave on the neck?

Yes. It has.
Not at home for the moment but I'll check out the serial number and try to provide some pics. The sax was sold with a well built hard case but dunno if it was the original one.

OK - question solved.

After the serial number it is marked "880" - never noticed that before. Guess it shows that is a T880
