I think it was original lacquer, but I wasn't 100% sure. I'm pretty sure it's original.

Yeah, the sticker is on there. As for the key bump up things, I like them. It puts the palm keys in the perfect position. It keeps my fingers near the keys so i can quickly switch notes without a delay. The sticker looks pretty cool too. For all of the amazing work Emilio put into it, I couldn't care less about the sticker.

I hear Emilios work is top notch, but IMO, putting a sticker on a Selmer Mark VI (or any other saxophone) is like putting a bumper sticker on a Mercedes. Tacky:tsk:

You can't even see the sticker. It's next to the serial number.

When I saw the red pads I figured it was a Emilio or Jim G rebuild. Lacquer looks original

though I'm not a fan of Emilio's overhauls(I've had them in the past) I'm certain he wouldn't sell you a horn and say it was original lacquer if it wasn't. He is honest and a friend to the woodwind community.

He did tell me it was original. I just forgot so I posted the thread.

I liked the sticker :-(
It kinda travelled well, When I had my 1st MKVI Emilio sorted it for me and I was proud to show it here in the UK when I got back.
