That Sil Austin album is the first saxophone album I ever owned!!!! It was my dad's.

Understood! I noticed another thread that inquired whether Bueschers were appropriate for rock n' roll and got to thinking about the great players and the solos that helped to shape the "rock" sound way back in the beginning. Then, I stumbled onto the "walk" titles and things went from there!
