So, once every so often I go to listen to some of the Dinant competition performers, but there's some serious distortion or recording artifacts or something that make it really hard to hear what they actually sound like. The same sort of thing is on the Youtube recording of the Debussy Rhapsody. Am I just watching this on the wrong computer? Is there a way to fix this problem or is that just the way things are?

These videos are generally compressed so they are easily viewable. This makes for a lack of sound quality, and visuals as well.

If you check out the Dinant stuff, be sure to check out Stephen Page. :)

Do not watch David Wegehaupt's second round please...


first round is ok though... check that out!

I'm trying to watch the videos and it's not working. I'm using a mac and I have WMP. Any suggestions?
