Excellent documentary of Dinah Washington. It's split up into four parts starting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLiN9vrURd8

Talking heads include her sisters and one of her sons, friends, academics, and lots of musicians.

Her material was all over the place in quality and style, but she was such a great singer. That video from Newport in 1958 is an absolute treasure.

Thanks, Glenn!
I'll surely check this out. I probably listen to 'September In The Rain several times a week (with, I believe, Barney Kessel and Joe Zawinul). This was introduced to me by my Dad more than 50 years ago.
