I have done a little research about the two processors, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the RP150 can play through a mic with the sax even though it is a guitar processor. Also, the Vx400...is it worth $250 for the sounds it has on it, and is it easy to work with?

Thanks

you should be able to use any guitar processor with a mic as long as the signal from the mic goes through a mic preamp first. This can be as simple as using the effects loop on a your mixer. It will work without the mic pre most likely, but you'll wind up with a lot of noise.

The Vx400 has a built in pre-amp with pre-amp modeling. All you need is your mic, a 1/4" or an XLR cable and you're set.
