Hello all - I have recently been able to get my hands on a Vandoren Metal V16 T95 mouthpiece i na trade for one of my alto pieces. Seems liek a great piece that has a focused sound. I am curious though that I have read that the T75 has a different feel/sound to it. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The T95 is not as powerful / Bright / Edgy as I would like it to be. But agai nthis could just be because it is a new piece to me.

What are your experiences??

Thanks

I had a T75 and found that the upper register was closed sounding. The T95 opened it up and gave me much more projection. It still wasn't as powerful as I wanted though. That's when I switched to the Jody Jazz DV. It is more powerful with some more edge than the V16s.
