Others haven't heard this as only guitar, and now that I hear the sax line with it I can't help but think that you were hearing these lines over the top the whole time. Works well, or at least you've made it work well by adding sax. The phasing is an interesting effect, but gets old quickly and has the tendency to make itself and everything else sound out of tune. Would be better (IMHO) without it. OK, I know you are a novice at guitar, but you're not a musical novice, so it surprises me to hear you get stuck in gimmick sound effect.

Underlying this there is still great talent. Just wish you'd somehow get through the learning phase on guitar. It's like watching a teenager go through puberty: nothing anyone else can do but watch and hope you get through it quickly.

Yea, it's harsh, but you know there is great respect.

It sounds so conversational. I know I've said this kind of thing before, but this piece brings to mind late fifties black and white movies and life as a struggling artist. Bit out there I know, but it's very visual for me. Good aesthetic in other words

Huh? Wade, I wrote this guitar part yesterday! I did send you a guitar 'solo' piece the other day.
I thought you listen very carefully? Hmmm...lol....

But yes, I always appreciate your candor. I'll try and hurry up with my guitar progress.

Another treat for the ears...must be halloween time!

Liked that little meeting point just before 1:28...the unison line at 1:49 reminded me of Ornette Coleman. Actually, the whole piece does...very cool.

Thank you Shawn! Ornette? Really? Cool! Ornette never bothered to care what others thought of his violin and trumpet playing. It's not always about precision or proficiency.
It's about ideas. My guitar work is what it is, that goes without saying, but I really love playing it and it felt good to get something like this done. It's a start.
When the idea to do it hit me I really wasn't sure I could do anything with it.
It's not something great but I sure had fun working on it.

Thanks again Shawn!
Happy Halloween!

With the advice of Wade Cornell, I decided to re-write the guitar part for Dichotomy and use just the
original acoustic guitar sound. I initially used a phaser effect, which actually I still like. However, without a doubt,
the acoustic guitar sound is by far better.
Thank you Wade!..................... I did use the phaser for approx 8 seconds or so...
