i am wondering if anyone in the NJ area has a decent amount of mouthpieces and are willing to help out a young musician. i am mainly focused on alto pieces. i am willing to pay you just to let me come by and play some of your mouthpieces in your collection. every sax player knows that finding a nice mouthpiece for yourself could be a long and expensive process. i figured this might help me save some time and money. message me if your willing. god bless you all!

check out mojo....he's in Jersey and a swell guy!!!!! if you find something almost perfect he CAN make it perfect!

the problem with new pieces is that they may STILL need a reface.... roberto's has new and vintage pieces in NYC but expect to PAY....

Locate & befriend a local saxophone collector.
ALL of the vintage mouthpieces I own, I found "included" with horns I had picked up, in thrifts stores & ebay, etc.
In two cases I remember, I bought the horn just for the mouthpiece, that nobody seemed to be noticing, as I tried to keep a calm poker-face. WEW!.
