December 2011 Issue of Scooby-Sax Newsletter

The December, 2011 issue of the Scooby-Sax Newsletter is available. This issue focuses on tenor saxophonist Larry McKenna's solo on "My Shining Hour." The solo is analyzed with a particular emphasis on McKenna's use of approach notes. Additional practice ideas related to the use of approach notes in improvisation are given.

It's always great to have your work recognized. And you DID do an excellent analysis of the solo.
