Enjoy! I always prefer to practice ballads over long tones, so I figured I'd make the practice into a little video - just keeps things more interesting.

Trane did lots of overtones . always the way I start. But what you are doing is good for air support and intonation. Have at it K

Thanks Keith! I'm sure Kenny Garrett also does tons of overtones - and this doesn't provide much for that unless I started trying to hit some overtones to play a ballad... Could be interesting, maybe that'll get that tried out one of these days. I usually do overtones and altissmo practice separately... but thats far less interesting lol.

But this is a great way to build up that intonation as you said. Thanks for the thoughts and support!!

Haha, I know you've got delta city blues down pat from your MPC test video. I'd probably have to work at that for years ?. Thanks Simon, one of my favorite tunes too

Good job Jared, your playing and sound increased a lot lately.
Thanks Peter! Much appreciated. I haven't gone back to compare my old sound to now, but I imagine I'll be pleasantly surprised :)
