Since the very beginning of Sax-On, at their grand opening, where they had a number of local professionals to give a mini concert, they have gone out of their way to help the woodwind playing public learn from hearing and talking with true professionals of the music world. They have done this through frequent one day Workshops and Master Classes with many of the pros who have come to play in Barcelona. I have been to hear and learn from the likes of Dave Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi, Charles McPherson, Ernie Watts, Jessie Davis, Kenny Garret, and James Carter, just to name a few. As a friend of both Miguel and Diego I have often assisted with translating for the public and the performer when there was a language barrier. In that way I got to meet and chat with all of those wonderful gentlemen whose music I admire so much.

This event was held on October 19, 2013 in Barcelona, Spain.

Should there be a video attached? I’d love to see it if there is one. The James Carter one is great, made me get out my Lawtons.

Yeah. I was hoping it would be seen on the forum because on my computer it said it needed me to permit Flash Player to operate. I did that but it still doesn't run for me. The problem is that this forum only allows you to upload videos that have a web address, and not ones directly of your own from your phone or computer without first uploading them to some sharing site. Anyway, that's how I understand it because it doesn't seem to have an upload button for such video files like the jepeg still photo button does. All it has is a place to put the web link in. I don't quite understand why it is so backward and out of date. The James Carter video is just one of many I shot at Sax-On Master classes and at the Jamboree Jazz club but I had to take the time to upload it to YouTube first. I haven't done that in years out of laziness. This Liebmann video is on the Sax-On Website and is a Vimeo video. I thought that would upload just like YouTube, but it appears that it is not an permitted type file for this worthless V-Bull****on program. So once again SOTW's own program makes using the Forum unnecessarily difficult. This is losing us members among young people who won't put up with such back asswards apps. I will therefore uploand the Vimeo to YouTube if I can. If not I'll just post the web address of Sax-On where you can see videos of Dave Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi, Jesse Davis, Theo Wanne, Jordy Espinos and Chris Potter, among others.
