Lauren Hogg and myself (Paul McEachran) will be performing Andy Scott's Dark Rain double saxophone concerto this Friday, 16th November, with Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra, conducted by Guy Woolfenden.
The concert, to celebrate Guy Woolfenden's 70th Birthday, will start at 7pm in the Adrian Boult Hall in the Conservatoire, and also features works for wind orchestra by Edwin Roxburgh, Fergal Carroll and Guy Woolfenden.
Guy was Head of Music of the Royal Shakespeare Company for 36 years, and was awarded an OBE for services to music in the New Years Honours List in 2007.
