Curved soprano - Help greatly appreciated

919 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  bruce bailey
Need some information on this soprano I picked up. It has a scroll design on the bell with 'Imperial' on it. No other makers marks or places of origin. It is brass body with silver keys with I believe mother of pearl. The serial # is F6557.

Could someone please help with this. Having trouble finding any info and wondering what one like this may go for. Want to know if I got a good deal.

Thanks

Sounds like one of the asian horns. Does it have the LH bell keys and the for F# that is an oval pearl? Does it have a high F# key?
If its an early conn it will have the letter S above the serial and L or H below
Dave
Maybe the F in the serial number is a P. If so it would be a Conn stencil.
