Hey Guys,

Unfortunately, I have some spare time on my hands and in this bleak period I've decided to cultivate an online saxophone course in order to drum up more interest in saxophone lessons. I'd love some feedback from fellow sax players on some of the content so far. I'm confident in my teaching, but I'm always looking to improve and approach things in different ways.

Any constructive feedback would be great :)

Thanks all!

I like your tutorials. But how about some sheet music to go with your lessons? Might be a problem with copyright i suppose but would help alot

Thanks for the feedback Toango!

At the moment I'm steering clear of teaching Dots, this course is designed to start people off and improve the ear without the need for Sheets (although I've found I've had to physically tell people what the notes are or the attention rate...well...dies.) There are plans in the works for a course that will deal with note reading in different genres, from beginners through to advanced and also a sort of hybrid for people playing in Big bands where a bit of both is required. Unless I get a deal with a publishers, you're right about the copyright, it'll have to be all my own compositions, scary stuff.

I've done write ups of each video on my website...the above go link has died on me unfortunately so here is a new link to the working directory... http://danchristian.net/media_library/videos

Production has stopped at the moment as life has gotten in the way...silly life!! But I'll be back at it soon.

PS: If anyone would like to give me the rights to use some of their dots for free YouTube tutoring purposes, that would be extremely useful :)
