A great example of a kind of ensemble writing/playing that is rarely heard today. The idea of "funk" today is to be "tight" but in those days, the objective as to be loose and raggedy ***. This is great Shepp, as is Mama Too Tight and Fire Music and for further example of great loose ensemble writing and performing I recommend everyone check out The New York Contemporary Five. Thanks Tim for pulling our coats.

Great Tim, as always.
This tune is very good and Shepp is great. I have a album from Shepp - Live in San Francisco.... that thing is really no easy to listen....
Shepp can be very 'aggressive' musically speaking when he wants to.
He plays all the things you are on that album and i almost didn't recognize the tune..

In this case is easy to listen, although i ask myself who really can transcribe this solo?
