This is one of those ('50? '60' ) Rampone and Cazzani that so, closely resemble a Malerne. These are good but somewhat unsophisticated horns which production preceded Rampone & Cazzani's turning towards the modern production and fame , this is a particularly well preserved example. They are definitely good horns of that era but are not comparable to the later R&C production that we know nowadays. So, if your intention is to collect Italian horns of that period this is as good as it gets.
