There are no dates in this piece; did CB just die?

Sad news, but thanks, Tim.

Moby Grape! Yeah! I copied his work from Moby Grape in 1969 or so, and had completely forgotten whose it was.

The only times I ever heard Corny live was playing in front of the old woolworths on market st in san francisco. He was a great player with a nice fat punchy sound that sounded great bouncing off of walls down there. He was one of several really outstanding guys you would here down there from time to time, Sonny Simmons most prominent among them.

Loved his playing growing up on those Steely Dan & Doobies records.Another great one gone. There just never seems to be enough time or enough music.

Bumpus has been gone a few years as of now.

Simmons is in Oslo now- sounding strong too.

Man, I know that face! I'm sure I've listened to him play on Market St.!

I guess everything really is connected to everything. Very cool.

Thanks once again, Tim.
